Setting the tone
When opening a new conversation I often like to wait to see what the other person says first. That way I can instantly either pick up on something they’ve said or find the appropriate tone. However I can tell other people think the same as me because I occasionally seem to have endless standoffs, until they dissconnect. I never FUCKING loose.
